Samsung first displayed the Odyssey G9 game monitor back at the Consumer Electronics Show 2020. It was unlike any other monitor we’ve ever seen. The wide size of this 49-inch screen meant that it would delight even the most discerning players.

As you might expect, this iconic esports monitor had an impressive price tag. Discounts are few and far between. However, there is a good chance today for US customers to grab the Odyssey G9 at the lowest price right now.

Samsung Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor Specification 

The Samsung Odyssey G9 has a 49-inch curved QLED screen with a 5120 × 1440 resolution (32: 9-factor ratio). It is also the world’s first gaming console with a dual-QHD solution, NVIDIA G-Sync, and bonkers 1000R curvature.

It is an excellent game monitor for a reason. The Odyssey G9 has a refresh rate of 240Hz with a response time of 1ms. With a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, and can cover 95% DCI-P3 color gamut. The accompanying stand supports twisting, rotating, and tilting. Includes 100 × 100 VESA mount.

This comes with two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, and three USB 3.0 ports are available on the Odyssey G9. There is also a headphone jack. For gamers, some features like Black Equalizer and Virtual Aim Point enhance the user experience.

At the launch, Samsung charged a precautionary rate of $1,100. That’s a fair amount of monetary value but you actually get the next level monitor. There is good news for US customers. Amazon has reduced the guard price by $200. So if you are in a hurry, you can buy the Odyssey G9 from Amazon for $900.
