After iOS, WhatsApp Beta enables Message Reporting for Android

WhatsApp started releasing a new update for the Android application on the Beta channel, which is equipped with version number 2.21.20.1. To be mentioned, the same treatment (2.21.190.12) has recently been provided to Apple iPhone consumers on the iOS Beta channel.

In order to experience this feature, you just need to install the latest WhatsApp Beta for your Android smartphone via Google Play Store, you can sideload it as well. After installing, simply open a chat, swipe left to right on the message you want to report and you can see a newly added option for Report!

Going further, WABetaInfo shared more information regarding WhatsApp’s this new feature, which reveals when you report a contact, the most recent messages are forwarded to WhatsApp, for moderation reasons, so they can understand the context to decide if the recipient has to be banned.

Note: When you use this new feature, only the selected message is forwarded.
