Korea: Samsung Galaxy A51, Tab S7 get September 2021 security update

Just recently, Samsung has started sending a new software update for Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy Tab S7 in South Korea. The latest firmware update includes the most up-to-date September 2021 security patch in order to improve your device’s stability and enhanced user privacy.

Below, you can check the software version of this update:

  • Galaxy A51 5G -A516NKSU4CUH2
  • Galaxy Tab S7 LTE -T975NKOU2BUI1

It’s important to mention that the September 2021 security patches bring fixes for 46 CVEs from Google and 23 SVEs from Samsung for all the Galaxy devices including Galaxy A51 5G or Galaxy Tab S7 series. In addition, it’s also expected to include a fix for Android Auto-related issues to affected Galaxies.

Back in Q2 2020, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A51 5G smartphone, while the Galaxy Tab S7 series in Q3 2020. Out of the box, these devices came with Android 10-based One UI 2.x, while received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 earlier this year.

If you want to check for firmware updates manually, open the device’s Settings, tap on Software updates, hit the Download and install button if your phone detects a new OTA update.
