Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note 20 receive October 2021 update, Digital Key access

Yesterday, Samsung started releasing the October 2021 security update to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series smartphone users in South Korea. Aside from the security enhancements, the latest firmware update also introduces a new feature called Digital Key that works with the help of UWB.

Following yesterday’s initial rollout, the Korean tech giant is now expanding the reach of the October 2021 security update to more Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series smartphone owners in its home ground. At the same time, the Galaxy S20 FE has also received the same treatment last night.

    • Galaxy S20 Ultra – G988NKSU1EUI3
  • Galaxy Note 20 Series:

To be mentioned, the South Korean tech giant didn’t reveal the details of its October 2021 security patch for the Galaxy devices. We can expect, the security bulletin will be released in the coming days or in the first week of October 2021.

If you want to check for new software update manually, then open your device Settings, head to the Software updates menu and hit the Download and install button.
