Samsung Galaxy A30s and M30 receiving September 2021 security update

Samsung is currently busy developing the Android 12 update with One UI 4.0 software system for the Galaxy S21 series. At the same time, the company is also updating the eligible devices with new security patches as well as bringing some new features.

Meanwhile, the Korean tech giant just released the September 2021 security patch for its two budget smartphones – Galaxy A30s and Galaxy M30. Initially, the update rollout has begun in India, while the consumers of these devices from other regions have to wait until the company expands its reach.

Last month, Samsung revealed that its September 2021 security update brings fixes for 46 CVEs for Android and 23 SVEs for One UI. Therefore, if you own one of the eligible Galaxy smartphones, then download and install the September 2021 security update for further stability improvements.

It’s important to mention that the Galaxy A30s have received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update a few months ago, Galaxy M30 at the same time is not compatible with the 11th generation of Android. Meanwhile, both of these devices are still eligible for more security patch updates.

How to update?

  • Open device Settings
  • Tap on Software updates
  • Hit the Download and install button
