Samsung will release stable Android 12 One UI 4.0 update in December this year

Back in late August, Samsung launched the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta program for the Galaxy S21 series in South Korea. After that, the company has expanded this activity to more S21 smartphone users in the US, Germany, India and the UK. To be noted, the OEM has released two One UI 4 Beta builds so far.

Last year, the Korean tech giant had started the Android 11-based One UI 3 Beta activity for the Galaxy S20 series in October 2020. Going ahead, the stable Android 11 update with One UI 3.0 features was released in early December 2020.

And now, the latest information revealed that the stable One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12 will release for the Galaxy S21 series in December 2021. In contrast, an S21 user reached Samsung Community in South Korea to know when will his handset get 5G standalone support on the Korea Telecom network.

Following the query, the Galaxy S manager said that it’s difficult to make it clear when will the Galaxy S21 receive 5G SA support in South Korea. However, the official confirmed that the Android 12-based One UI 4 development is running for the Galaxy S21 series.

To be mentioned, it’s officially confirmed that Samsung is actively collaborating with KT operators, and it looks like the stable Android 12 update with One UI version 4.0 and 5G SA support will release for the Galaxy S21 series devices in the month of December this year.
