Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launch rescheduled for January 11, 2022

The Galaxy S21 FE is Samsung’s next most-anticipated smartphone, which could release ahead of the Galaxy S22 series. A number of rumors revealed that the device won’t be released, while some of them climbed about the arrival for select countries.

Recently, famous tipster Jon Prosser claimed that Samsung has delayed the January 2021 launch of the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone, and the event could be held on January 11, 2022. If the company launches the FE variant in January next year, the Galaxy S22 series could be introduced a few months later.

Recently, Samsung confirmed that it will hold the Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 on October 20, while there’s no information regarding the upcoming products. However, it’s expected that Samsung will reveal more information regarding the One UI 4.0 and new applications.

Aside from this, some reports also revealed that the Korean tech giant could announce the Galaxy S21 FE at the Galaxy Unpacked Part 2. If the company decided to launch the Galaxy S21 FE in January 2022, the next Galaxy S flagship lineup will surely be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

Previous reports

Last month, it’s reported that the company had manufactured just 10000 Galaxy S21 FE units and later on reportedly decided to cancel the launch. By canceling the S21 FE, Samsung may be expecting to launch the Galaxy S22 series earlier than the Galaxy S21 series.

Galaxy S21 FE Google Play Console listing revealed some of its key specifications such as 6GB of RAM and an FHD+ sAMOLED display. On the front, it might have a 6.4-inch screen with a 120Hz higher refresh rate, Android 11-based One UI 3.1 pre-installed, 4370mAh battery and a 12MP primary camera.
