Samsung launches AWS/PCS dual-band Massive MIMO Radio in North America
On October 26, Samsung announced the commercial availability of its AWS/PCS Dual-band Massive MIMO Radio, continuing to expand its comprehensive list of Massive MIMO solutions. The new radio station is one of the lightest radio stations in the industry that supports Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) and Broadband Personal Communications Service (PCS).
As the most compact and integrated Massive MIMO AWS/PCS radio market available, Samsung’s new radio station excels in its ability to deliver high output power (320W) in a small way. Installed with the company’s latest System-on-a-Chip (SoC) and designed to improve network capacity and coverage, while reducing its power consumption and radio size.
The AWS/PCS Dual-band Massive MIMO Radio is the company’s first 16T16R FDD company’s first Massive MIMO radio station. It is now commercially available, along with Samsung’s AWS/PCS Dual-band 4T4R Radio. Samsung continues to provide a comprehensive radio program that includes low-band, mid-band, and mmWave in North America.
