One UI 4.0 Tip: How to setup Bluetooth on Samsung phones?

Bluetooth is a very mature, safe, and convenient wireless technology that uses radio frequencies to transmit data over short distances. This is a keen way to share Samsung smartphone content with other devices, especially if you can’t access Wi-Fi or don’t want to run out of data allowance. Although, here, in this article, we are discussing how to use Bluetooth on One UI 4.

Every Samsung fans are very well aware of the One UI 4 which is based on Google’s Android 12. This new OS comes with enhanced privacy and protection functions that make it easier for users to understand and deliver a more personalized mobile experience.

In a recent development, Samsung’s latest foldable, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z flip 3 are experiencing the latest feature and changes of One UI 4 via the beta update. The One UI 4 beta program allows users to check out One UI 4’s upgraded features ahead of its official release.

With the new One UI 4, users get rich theme options that let users adjust the look and functionality of their devices, giving them tools to configure their home screens, icons, notifications, wallpapers, and more.

How to use Bluetooth Connection on Samsung devices?

You can pair your device to other Bluetooth-enabled devices, like Bluetooth
headphones or a Bluetooth-enabled vehicle infotainment system. Once a pairing is
created, the devices remember each other and can exchange information without
having to enter the passkey again.

  1. From Settings, tap Connections > Bluetooth, and then tap to turn on Bluetooth.
  2. Tap a device and follow the prompts to connect.

TIP: When sharing a file, tap Bluetooth to use this feature.

Rename a paired device

You can rename a paired device to make it easier to recognize.

  1. From Settings, tap Connections > Bluetooth, and then tap to turn on Bluetooth.
  2. Tap Settings next to the device name, and then tap Rename.
  3. Enter a new name, and tap Rename.

Unpair from a Bluetooth device

When you unpair from a Bluetooth device, the two devices no longer recognize each other and you will need to pair with the device again in order to connect to it.

  1. From Settings, tap Connections > Bluetooth, and then tap to turn on Bluetooth.
  2. Tap Settings next to the device, and then tap Unpair.

Advanced options

Additional Bluetooth features are available in the Advanced menu. Options may vary by carrier.

  1. From Settings, tap Connections > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap More options > Advanced or Advanced for the following options:
  • Sync with Samsung Cloud: Sync files are transferred through Bluetooth with your Samsung account.
  • Phone Name: Change the name of your device for Bluetooth connections.
  • Received files: View a list of files received using Bluetooth.
  • Music Share: Let friends play music on your Bluetooth speaker or headphones.
  • Ringtone sync: Use the ringtone set on your device when you receive calls through a connected Bluetooth device.
  • Bluetooth control history: View apps that have used Bluetooth recently.

Dual audio

You can play audio from your device to two connected Bluetooth audio devices.

  1. Connect Bluetooth audio devices to your device.
  2. From the Notification panel, tap Media.
  3. Under Audio output, tap next to each audio device to play audio to them (up to two devices)
