Samsung One UI 4 finally allows users to set wallpaper from Google Photos

Samsung will finally allow users to edit the background image from the Google Photos app in One UI 4. One UI 4 is the latest version of the Samsung UI, a company that has revealed in a new promo video(via-AndroidPolice). Samsung devices will receive this version in the coming months.

One UI 4 will have some nice new features and improvements, and one of them allows users to set a wallpaper directly from the Google Photos app.

Enabling the ability to choose your favorite background image Google Photos has been one of the most common requests by customers. However, One UI 4 will meet this requirement. In the latest version of the Samsung UI, the whole process is more straightforward, and it takes less effort.

Samsung’s One UI 4 Allows to Set Wallpaper in Google Photos

Previous to this, selecting a favorite image from Google Photos as wallpaper for Samsung phones was a complete challenge. Users had to download an image from the app and go to the Home screen to set a background image. But for now, you just need to swipe up the image and press “use as,” and then tap “lock and home screen.”

However, the exact way for those who often change the background image and have more photos on Google Photos to find something new and exciting. In addition, some users have previously reported having difficulty downloading photos from Google Photos.

Another small but pleasant addition to the One UI 4 is the recommended folder colors like the Material You color palette extracted from the background image.

We still do not know when the final version of the One UI 4 will be released on Samsung devices. However, if we look at the issue hopefully, some users will get a new UI before the end of 2021. Also, users of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are given priority to get the One UI 4.
