Breaking: Samsung Galaxy S22 to launch on February 18, pre-orders from 8th

Recently, famous tipster Jon Prosser revealed the real-life images of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S flagship smartphone. Now, the tipster came to light with important information regarding the Galaxy S22 series, which reveals its pre-orders timeline and launch date.

In a Twitter post, the same source said that starting February 8, the pre-orders of the Galaxy S22 series will begin. At the same time, he said that the new lineup is expected to be officially launched on February 18. To be mentioned, the Galaxy S21 series devices launched back in January this year.

Display: The standard Galaxy S22 will feature a 6.06-inch display, while the Galaxy S22 + will use a 6.55-inch screen, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will use a 6.81-inch curved display. All of these models will have AMOLED screens with LTPO backplanes that support variable refresh rates from 10Hz to 120Hz.

Camera: The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ may be equipped with a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. Besides, the Galaxy S22 Ultra may feature a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, a 10MP telephoto, and a 10MP periscope camera.

SoC: Reports revealed that the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in the US, Canada, and China with 4nm-based Snapdragon 898 chip made by Samsung, while AMD GPU-based Exynos 2200 chipset in other regions such as Europe and Asia.

Battery and design: As per the reports, the Galaxy S22 may come with a 3700mAh battery, the Galaxy S22+ uses a 4500mAh battery, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a battery of 5000mAh. The top model will have a glass back panel, while the other two models are expected to have a glasstic back panel.

Notably, the real-life images of the Galaxy S22 Ultra were revealed two days back, showcasing that the device will have a “pen holder” for the S Pen, with an opening at the bottom of the phone, which hints that the Galaxy Note series will never return.
