Samsung DeX gets One UI 4 Andriod 12 support

Recently, Samsung officially released the stable Andriod 12 based One UI 4 update for its latest flagship Galaxy S21 series devices. It brings new customization options and privacy features as well as a high-quality mobile experience that puts you in control.

After installing this latest software, users can also update the application to the latest version. According to the information, the company has now started rolling out a new update for the Samsung DeX app, which brings support for the (Andriod 12) One UI 4 to improve stability and performance.

Samsung DeX is a feature that allows you to extend your phone to a PC by connecting an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. It also has dedicated DeX applications for Windows and macOS, which allow users to access the DeX environment on their existing computers.

A few days ago, the Korean tech giant has updated its website to announce that it is ending DeX support for Windows 7 PCs and the macOS service starting next year. In fact, macOS users have started seeing a popup message in the app stating that DeX support for macOS will end in January 2022.

How to enable?

  1. From Settings, tap Advanced features > Samsung DeX.
  2. Tap to turn on the feature.
  3. Follow the instructions on your device to connect to your TV or PC.
  • If connecting to a PC, download the DeX app onto your computer at samsungdex.com.
