Samsung Galaxy Note 9 getting November 2021 security update in Germany

Launched back in 2018, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is Samsung’s flagship smartphone that belongs to the Galaxy Note line. A year after its launch, the device received Android 9-based One UI 1 update, followed by Android 10-based One UI 2.

Now, Samsung started releasing a new software update for the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone users. This new firmware update brings the latest Android and One UI patches released in November 2021.

Identified via PDA release number – N960NKSU3FUJ2, the Galaxy Note 9 November 2021 security update is initially rolling out in South Korea, however, it will expand to more regions in the coming days/weeks.

November 20: Samsung is now rolling out the November 2021 Android patches to Galaxy Note 9 devices in Germany.

Changelog:

  • Application of terminal operation related stabilization code
  • Application of terminal security related stabilization code

In addition to the system security improvements, this new Galaxy Note 9 update neither brings any new features nor UI changes. Also, this older flagship is not eligible to get any new major Android or One UI software update.
