Google Play Store will soon get new ‘Offers’ tab at the bottom bar

In October this year, Google has introduced the new Material You design for the Google Play store, which looks very simple as it only touches the home screen. Now as per the information (via-9to5google), Google is now planning to add an “Offers” tab to the Play Store, which makes the bottom bar very confusing.

The initial Material You redesign of the Play Store is limited to the four main home screen feeds. If you subscribe to the Play Pass, it will increase to five. For all users who insert “Offers” between “Apps” and “Movies and TV”, the default value will soon become 5, which will be severely truncated in the process.

It uses a standard price tag icon and may have up to 6 items, but in this case, Google may move the Play Pass. It shows “offers for apps you might like” and “Games” equivalent. Carousel ads with larger-than-usual cover images will promote problematic deals and expiration dates.

Despite the name, it is different from the “Offers and Notifications” page in the application menu. It is more similar to a card that promotes “Limited Time Events” in the game feed.

To be mentioned, the “Offers” tab of the Google Play Store is not yet widely available on the devices that are currently checked. Therefore, it is not clear whether this is an A/B test or a final feature.
