Samsung 65W and 45W super fast charging adapters revealed [U]

For a long time, Samsung is preparing to introduce a super-fast charging adapter for smartphones. Well, it looks like the company is going to introduce a massive charging adapter with up to 65W capacity in the near future as the official product renders revealed, courtesy of RonaldQuandt.

According to the information, Samsung will soon launch a new charging adapter called Samsung Power Adapter Trio with model number EP-T6530. The render of this upcoming adapter showcases two USB C-Type ports with max of 65W and 25W capacity, while the third one is a traditional port with up to 15W support.

Update:

  • The Trio-Charger will be available on the market from mid-December at a price of 59.90 euros with 65W fast charging support.

Samsung Power Adapter Trio:

Aside from this, the same source also revealed the official product render of another upcoming Samsung charging adapter namely the Samsung Power Adapter EP-T4510. Unlike the trio, this adapter features just a single charging capacity of 45W through a USB-C type port.

Update:

  • It’s expected that Samsung 45W power adapter will be available at the beginning of December at prices of around 30 euros.

To be mentioned, Samsung didn’t launch any smartphone having support for such 65W fast charging, however, it’s expected that this functionality could debut with the next Galaxy S flagship lineup, at least with Galaxy S22 Ultra in early next year.

  • 1 port USB Type-C (max.65W)
  • 1 port USB Type-C (max.25W)
  • 1 port USB Type-A (max.15W)

Performance when using multiple ports

  • USB-C1 + USB-C2 = 40W + 25W
  • USB-C1 + USB-A = 50W + 15W
  • USB-C2 + USB-A = 25W + 15W
  • USB-C1 + USB-C2 + USB-A = 35W + 25W + 5W

  • Galaxy S20 Ultra
  • Galaxy Note 10+
  • Galaxy S21 FE [Expected]

Note: The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20 series support fast charging up to 25W.
