Samsung to finally drop Galaxy Note line by end of 2021!
Samsung is expected to discontinue production of the ‘Galaxy Note‘ series later this year. It has been confirmed that the Galaxy Note series will be dropped from the 2022 annual smartphone production plan.
After launching an unannounced new product, the company decided to completely withdraw its current models that continued sales. By applying the S Pen to the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Note experience is consolidated, but it is still in demand to receive demand from Galaxy Note series enthusiasts who have a built-in pen.
According to Korean media ETNews, Samsung decided to discontinue the Galaxy Note lineup by the end of this year. And the company will present the Ultra model of the Galaxy S series as a Note phone as the Galaxy S22 Ultra is rumored to come with a Galaxy Note-like S Pen chamber.

Earlier this year Samsung S confirmed the possibility of integrating the Galaxy S21 Ultra lineup by supporting handwriting input. The Galaxy S22 Ultra model, which will be unveiled early next year, is expected to include not only the overall product design but also key features such as the Galaxy Note’s pen storage.
The main reason for Samsung’s decision to discontinue production of the Galaxy Note series is the growing production of foldable smartphones. It can be seen that the decision was made to reduce costs by stabilizing the yield of the foldable product and improving the efficiency of the process so as to replace the major sales in the second half of the year.

The next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S22 series, is expected to go on sale after being unveiled by Global Unpacked in February next year. The successor to the Galaxy Z series is expected to go into massive production from the third quarter.
