Hello There! I am back again on SammyFans.com. I have started again writing on this Samsung Fans blog. What’s the story so far?

Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S21 series users all around the world, (well!) after several rounds of beta testing. The Korean company also started One UI 4.0 Beta testing for the Galaxy Note 20 series users, Galaxy S20 series users, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Flip 3, Galaxy Flip, and Galaxy Flip 5G.

The Beta program is currently running for the above-mentioned Galaxy smartphones, while the Galaxy S21 series users are moving forward and started receiving the first software update on the stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0 version.

The update is presently rolling out in Germany (most of the time, they are first to receive the latest software update,) and brings the November 2021 security patch alongside. The rollout of this update is limited to the DBT (Germany), you can expect a wider rollout in the coming days.

For the identification of this software update just check the versions: G991BXXU3BUKG/G996BXXU3BUKG/G998BXXU3BUKG for the Galaxy S21/S21+/S21 Ultra respectively.

The important point, this specific build comes with a notice/reminder, which says, you need to update the following apps after upgrading to the latest software version. The Samsung apps are listed below.

  • Samsung Internet
  • SmartThings
  • Samsung Members
  • Calculator
  • Smart Switch

That’s why don’t forget to update these applications after upgrading to BUKG build. Check the screenshot below for the official language.
