Samsung Expert RAW will expand to more Galaxy devices, official review underway

Samsung announced the new Expert RAW app, which takes the Galaxy smartphone users’ photography experience to the next level. Initially, the company started its public beta service for Galaxy S21 Ultra models, while other phone owners, with powerful camera capabilities, are also exploring info about Expert RAW availability.

In a recent development, the Samsung community’s camera department in charge disclosed some information regarding the Expert RAW that you should need to know. According to the info, Samsung engineers are reviewing the specifications of models for Expert RAW feature support.

However, the official confirmed that only a small number of Galaxy devices are expected to get Pro Mode support in the Telephoto camera. Adding to this, in order to support the Expert RAW camera functionality, devices are needed to be equipped with powerful processors and storage configurations.

It’s worth mentioning that Expert RAW is a new and powerful camera app developed by Samsung for Galaxy devices. This application enables users to use Pro Mode settings in all camera lenses available on their smartphone including Wide, Ultrawide, and Telephoto, however, it does all processes with software.

There are a handful of Samsung devices available featuring a Telephoto camera lens in which the Galaxy A72 and Galaxy Quantum 2 (A82 5G) included, aside from flagships. You can check a list of eligible models that should get Expert RAW camera app support in the near future.
