Samsung rolls out November 2021 security update to Galaxy S10 in the US (unlocked)
Samsung has begun rolling out a new firmware update for the Galaxy S10 series devices in the US. This update is based on One UI 3.1 on top of the Android 11 operating system, which brings the November 2021 security patch for better system stability.
Identified via PDA release number ending GUK1, this new Galaxy S10 series s/w update is rolling out for the carrier unlocked units in the US. While the consumers are wondering about Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update, the company is busy updating latest flagships such as Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3.

Galaxy S10 Android 12 Update
According to Samsung US roadmap, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e will start getting the major Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update in February 2022. Back in February 2019, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10 flagships on the occasion of the 10th-anniversary of the Galaxy S-series. This range introduces various smartphones including the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 5G.
Pre-equipped with Android 9-based One UI 1.1, the Galaxy S10 series is eligible for at least three years of Android OS upgrades, according to the revised Samsung software update policy 2020.
