Samsung rolls out December 2021 security patch to Galaxy Note 10+ 5G

Samsung is now expanding the December 2021 security patch to more new Galaxy devices in which the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G is the latest entry to the crew. The update rollout is initially happening in Saudi Arabia and UAE, while users can identify the update through PDA build version – N976QXXS5FUK4.

The Korean tech giant is yet to release the details of its December 2021 security patch’s content, and it’s expected to come very soon. In addition to Google patches, Samsung Mobile provides additional fixes for SVEs (Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures) in order to improve our customer’s confidence in security.

However, it is an initial rollout, the company will gradually expand the December 2021 security patch availability to more regions and countries. Meanwhile, Samsung has also started testing the One UI 4 Beta on the Galaxy Note 10 series in South Korea, while a stable update will release in early next year.

Launched back in the second half of last year, the Galaxy Note 10 series shipped with Android 9 Pie based One UI 1.5 on board. Earlier this year, these devices have received the Android 10-based One UI 2.5 in late 2019, followed by Android 11-based One UI 3 in late 2020.

In order to check for the latest update manually, head to your device Settings tap on Software updates, and finally hit the Download and install button.
