Samsung is already preparing to launch some new 5G low-cost smartphones in 2022 and the Galaxy M33 5G looks to be one of them. It’s been quiet for a while, but the phone is definitely there and Samsung is close to making its debut.

Like other upcoming phones, the Galaxy M33 is going through various approval processes before its market launch. And, luckily, the battery capacity of the Galaxy M33 5G was recently revealed by a South Korean agency.

The upcoming Galaxy M33 5G is powered by a battery that model number EB-BM336ABN, which has a rating capacity of 5,830mAh (typically 6,000mAh). This means that the Galaxy M33 5G should offer better battery life on a single charge than the Galaxy M32 5G, the latter being a 5,000mAh unit with 15W fast charging.

Samsung has not revealed any official plans for the Galaxy M33 5G. However, if the company follows the annual launch schedule, it may release the phone in early 2022.

The company is expected to launch with Android 12 and One UI 4 for most smartphones released next year. Appropriately, the Galaxy M33 5G was one of the first low-cost handsets to launch Samsung’s newest Android 12-based firmware.
