Here’s ‘Over the Horizon 2022’, the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 ringtone

Almost every year, the Samsung Galaxy S series makes subtle adjustments to the default ringtone of the smartphone. With the approaching of the Unpacked new product launch event of the next S series, the Korean forum has already leaked the default ringtones of the Galaxy S22 series smartphones.

And every year, Samsung re-imagines Over the Horizon to keep things fresh and the 2022 version is now available. You can listen to it via this Google Drive link (via @materialit_kr).

Samsung has been using “Over The Horizon” as the default ringtone for this Galaxy S series of smartphones. Although the genre of ringtones has always been passed down, changes in the melodies collected over the years have been significant, from rock to new age and then to fusion jazz.

In the blink of an eye, Samsung chose a piano melody for the Galaxy S22 that was previously relatively peaceful and continues to grow rapidly and has a unique, boxy, funky, trip-happy tone.

However, with only a month and a half left, Samsung has plenty of time to add more unique things to the new Galaxy flagship as the company prepares for its Unpacker launch event in the coming weeks.
