One UI 4.0 update rollout has been halted due to severe issues found in the Galaxy S21 series as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. While Samsung is striving to ‘restart’ its suspended stable Android 12 update release, a new report emerged from South Korea talks about a future version of One UI — One UI 4.1.

Recent report of ITMaterial reveals some of the main features that will be introduced with the Galaxy S22 lineup’s exclusive software system. As per the report, Samsung further subdivided the function of the Color Palette (dynamic themes) with the One UI 4.1.

Color Palette

The already available three Color Palette settings section will be subdivided into six, providing users an even better understanding of the dynamic theming system. As result, users can check which paint chips are included in the Color Palette.

Vibration pattern

In addition to added Color Palette options, Samsung will be introducing a new vibration pattern synchronization function. This newly added synchronization feature synchronizes the vibration patterns of ringtones and notification sounds in order to enable users to pick the sound to vibrate according to the rhythm.

MultiStar x Focus Mode

MultiStar is a customization service offering from the family of Good Lock applications. With the upgraded version of One UI 4.0, Samsung has added an additional feature called Focus Mode inside the laboratory AKA Lab section, allowing you to find Focus Mode on Multistar.

Smart Recommendation

In the useful features section, Samsung added a new menu that might be known as Smart Recommendation. This feature suggests useful actions on the smartphones such as calendar events to be added and messages to be sent, depending on the way you use them.

Improved Director’s View

Director’s View is still exclusive to the Galaxy S21 series as Samsung didn’t provide it to older flagships. Well, the report suggests that this feature has adopted a new recording method that makes shooting with the front and rear cameras at the same time, while the images will be saved separately.

According to previousl reports, Samsung may launch the Galaxy S22 series sometime in late-Feburary or early-March next year. This upcoming flagship smartphone range will exclusively come pre-installed with the Android 12-based One UI 4.1. Later on, Samsung will rollout this software to more Galaxy devices through s/w update.
