Samsung November 2024 security patch details

After locked models, Samsung has started releasing the November 2024 security update for unlocked Galaxy S24 models in the US. This update includes a new Auto Blocker feature and the latest security patch to make your phone more secure.

What’s New

The fresh update arrives with a new Auto Blocker feature. When you turn this on and set it to Maximum restrictions, your phone will only allow USB connections for charging. This means that other devices won’t be able to connect to your phone via USB, which helps protect your data if someone has physical access to your device.

While this feature provides extra-strong security, it will limit some of your phone’s functions. For example, you won’t be able to transfer files between your phone and other devices using a USB cable.

Moreover, the update installs the latest Android security patch to improve system security and stability to enhance overall performance. Samsung is yet to release the details of the November 2024 security patch on its Scope page.
