US unlocked Galaxy S24 gets advanced Auto Blocker with November 2024 update
After locked models, Samsung has started releasing the November 2024 security update for unlocked Galaxy S24 models in the US. This update includes a new Auto Blocker feature and the latest security patch to make your phone more secure.
Users of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models can identify the November 2024 security update with One UI builds S921U1UES4AXJA, S926U1UES4AXJA, and S928U1UES4AXJA respectively.

This means that other devices won’t be able to connect to your phone via USB, which helps protect your data if someone has physical access to your device.
While this feature provides extra-strong security, it will limit some of your phone’s functions. For example, you won’t be able to transfer files between your phone and other devices using a USB cable.
Moreover, the update installs the latest Android security patch to improve system security and stability to enhance overall performance. Samsung is yet to release the details of the November 2024 security patch on its Scope page.
How to Update?
Firstly, make sure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network to avoid using mobile data. Now, visit your phone’s Settings >> Scroll down and tap on Software Update >> Tap on the Download and Install option. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
After the update is installed, you can turn on the “Auto Blocker” feature in the settings to enhance your device’s security. This update brings useful improvements for Samsung Galaxy S24 users, helping to protect their personal information.
