Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic were the first smartwatches offered by Samsung to run on the new Wear OS 3. Developed by Samsung and Google, this operating system allows you to access the best of the Samsung and Google apps from your wrist.
The new platform has improved support for major third-party apps such as Strava, Calm and Spotify. In addition to the Wear OS 3, the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch 4 Classic also feature the new One UI Watch.
This user interface creates a smoother experience on your Galaxy devices. With One UI Watch, custom apps are automatically installed on your watch when downloaded to your phone and do not disturb all your settings Hours and blocked numbers are synced instantly.

Connecting Galaxy Watch to your mobile phone
To connect your Galaxy Watch 4 to a mobile device, you must have the Galaxy Wearable app installed on your mobile device.
You can download the Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store.
- Turn on the watch and swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the language icon to select the language to use. And then follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your mobile device
- Press Start.
- Tap on your Galaxy Watch 4 on the screen. If you do not find what you are looking for then just ask.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
Using gestures while using Galaxy Watch 4
Gestures allow you to interact with your smartwatch even when your hands are not empty.
- Answer Call: Bend at the elbow and move your arm twice.
- Dismiss alerts and calls: Do it twice on your wrist to remove the alarm or reject the incoming call.
- Quick Start: Bend your wrists up and down twice to open the app or feature you like. This feature is coming in the upcoming software update
Galaxy Watch 4 Quick Panel
The Quick Panel allows you to view the current state of the watch and quickly configure the settings.
- To open the Quick Panel, drag it from the top of the screen to the bottom.
- To close the Quick Panel, swipe up on the screen.
- You can use the bezel to move to the next or previous quick panel or swipe left or right on the screen.
- Tap the + and – icons to personalize, add or remove settings shown in the Quick Panel panel.
Watch Only Mode
