With these efforts, Samsung is working against environmental issues through innovative products and services that can be used in our day-to-day life. Previously, the tech maker announced that it will collaborate with Patagonia to reduce microplastics from oceans.

Meanwhile, the new announcement has also taken place in partnership with American clothing company Patagonia. The clothing company will help Samsung in multiple ways, such as product testing, sharing its research, and facilitating an introduction to the NGO Ocean Wise.

Furthermore, in order to contribute to better energy use and support sustainable living, Samsung has also partnered with Q Cell to install a new Zero Energy Home Integration feature for SmartThings Energy. This will provide production and storage data from solar panels and energy storage systems to help users establish energy self-satisfactoriness.
