Samsung phone screen is the best among all smartphone manufacturers present there. They’re sharp, bright, color-rich, and they come with HDR. Not only smartphones but Samsung electronics such as televisions also feature good displays.

Recently, Samsung and Sony, which is also a big name in the markets have collaborated to introduce the world’s first QD-OLED 4K TV. The newly announced Sony 4K Bravia XR A95K TV panel is made by none other than Samsung Display.

Previously, it was said that Samsung Electronics may announce a QD-OLED 4K TV at CES 2022. However, that hasn’t surfaced yet and it’s Sony that gets the major spotlight instead. Anyways, its display is unique and it could become a middle step between the standard OLED and MicroLED displays that only Samsung sells at the moment.

Moreover, the Samsung QD-OLED display uses three layers of blue OLED material for each pixel to offer a longer lifespan than traditional sets. The brand also says that it boosts color brightness by up to 200% when compared to conventional TVs.

Moving on, this partnership in particular marks an intriguing point for Sony. After all, the brand’s existing OLED sets use panels from Samsung’s rival LG Display. Regardless, Sony will continue to use LG Display panels for some of its other 2022 OLEDs.
