Samsung started rolling out the January 2022 Android security update for its Galaxy smartphones in late December. So far, a bunch of phones have installed the latest system fixes. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the latest to receive the January 2022 Android security patch.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 January 2022 security update holds the One UI build version F711BXXS2BUL8. At present, it is released in Caucasus countries, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. However, it will expand to more region users in the coming days or weeks.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3:

Launched last year, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a clamshell design. It comes with a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED other display and a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display with 2640 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 3300mAh dual-cell battery that supports 15W wired, 10W wireless, as well as 4.5W reverse wireless charging. Moreover, the phone features a rear dual-camera setup that includes a 12MP main and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, there’s a 10MP selfie shooter.

While considering its software, It came pre-installed with Android 11 based One UI 3.1.1 operating system. Whereas, a few days ago it has been upgraded to the latest Android 12 based One UI 4.0 software system.
