January 2022 security update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

Samsung is currently focusing on releasing its Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update for its eligible smartphones. At the same time, it is also installing the January 2022 Android security patch for compatible Galaxy phones and tablets.

In a recent development, the company is releasing the January 2022 Android security update for the famous Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone. It improves system performance by fixing unwanted bugs and viruses. Moreover, the update comes with the One UI build version F926BXXS1BUL8.

At present, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 January 2022 update is released for the Caucasus region, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine and is expected to release for other country users in the coming days or weeks. Do note that it has already expanded to the US unlocked model of the device.

If you haven’t received the update notification on your Galaxy Z Flip 3, you can check for the updates manually by going to your phone’s Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3:

Launched last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a famous folding smartphone offered by the Korean tech giant. It entered the markets with a pre-installed Android 11 based One UI 3.2.2 software version. However recently, it has received the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 and is also eligible for two more major OS updates, such as Android 13, and Android 14.
