[T-Mobile too] Samsung Galaxy Note 20 gets official Android 12 One UI 4.0 update in the US, India

T-Mobile began releasing a major Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update for Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra users. This major firmware update brings a bundle of new features and changes to the user interface.

Aside from the features, the update also installs December 2021 security patch for security improvements. Users can identify the update through the version number N981USQS2EULF and N986USQS2EULF for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra respectively.

Samsung has now started sending the stable Android 12 update to the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra devices in the US and India.

At the time of writing, the update rollout is happening in the US on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile carrier, while Unlocked units in India.

Along with the latest Android 12 privacy capabilities, Samsung included several new features with the 4th version of One UI.

In addition, the major Galaxy Note 20 series software update installs last month’s December 2021 security patch, while the Galaxy Note 10 series is receiving January 2022’s.

• Galaxy Note 20: N981USQS2EULF
• Galaxy Note 20 Ultra: N986USQS2EULF

If you have a Galaxy Note 20 series smartphone, then you might have received a notification for downloading the Android 12 One UI 4.0 software update.

If don’t, then you can manually check for a new s/w update by heading to your device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
