Samsung Galaxy Note 9 January 2022 security update released in the US

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone users in the US started getting the January 2022 Android patches through a new software update. The update is currently rolling out for both carriers locked and unlocked Galaxy Note 9 units in the United States.

Consumers in the US can identify the latest Galaxy Note 9 software update via PDA release number: N960USQS9FVA1 or N960U1UES9FVA1 for the carrier-locked and unlocked models respectively. Other than security improvements, the update doesn’t bring any new features or changes.
