Moto G Stylus (2022) launched to compete with Samsung’s unbeatable S Pen
Apart from Samsung, there are very few brands that introduce their smartphones with an in-build stylus. And, Motorola is one of those few companies. Just recently, Motorola has launched its new smartphone with stylus support named Moto G Stylus (2022).
It could be possible that Motorola has brought this device to the market because of discontinuing Samsung’s Note series. But we can’t deny that the first Moto device with a stylus was introduced in 2020 before the Korean company discontinued the Note lineup.

Moreover, Moto G Stylus (2022) has been improved in many aspects over its previous generation. It may or may not fill the gap left after the end of the Galaxy Note brand, it should be highlighted that Samsung is again coming with a new S-Pen supported Galaxy S22 Ultra in a few days.
Can Moto G Stylus (2022) compete with Samsung’s S-Pen?
Alike Samsung, the new device also has a slot on its body for the stylus. Still, it’s important to note that this stylus isn’t near the level of Samsung’s S Pen. A plus point for Motorola could be affordable price than the Note series.
Well, the company hasn’t detailed what technology it has used in the Stylus. Besides this, the Sylus in Moto phone could perform simple tasks. You can take down notes and make sketches on your phone while you’re on the go.
On the other hand, it doesn’t seem to have Bluetooth connectivity, Air Actions, or pressure sensitivity-like features. To be mentioned, this capacitive stylus doesn’t require a special digitizer, it works with any touchscreen smartphone.
Moto G Stylus (2022) Specification:
Moto G Stylus (2022) mainly focuses on display, camera, and battery life. Although it features a 90Hz display with an FHD+ resolution, it’s not common in this price segment. Further, it has a massive 5000mAh battery, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, and a 16MP selfie shooter.
Other than these, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It should be noted that the phone runs on the Android 11 software system, instead of the latest Android 12.
