Published

on

Samsung launched the Galaxy A72 smartphone last March with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 onboard. While the device is compatible with three generations of OS upgrades, the company provided the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 (changelog below) update in early January.

It’s noteworthy that the Korean tech giant rolls out every new firmware update in different phases, which helps it ensure the stability of a new release. However, the Galaxy A72 gets new software updates on a quarterly basis, we can expect, the company will conclude the Android 12 rollout for this device within this month.

Privacy

  • One UI 4 offers strong privacy protection to make sure your personal information doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

Permission info at a glance

  • See when each app accesses sensitive permissions such as Location, Camera, or Microphone in Permission usage. You can deny permissions for any apps you don’t feel comfortable with.

Approximate location

  • Keep your exact location private. You can set apps that don’t need to know exactly where you are to only have access your general area.

    • Self-expression is a tap away. Get to your emojis, GIFs, and stickers directly from the keyboard with a single button.
