Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could feature quad-curved display!
Samsung’s latest flagship lineup, Galaxy S22, is coming next week, while numerous leaks have already revealed everything about the upcoming smartphones. While the Galaxy S22 series is yet to release, we just got important news that hints at big design changes that could happen next year.
It looks like, the Korean tech giant may revamp the design of its flagship lineup’s Ultra model next year with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. According to IceUniverse, Samsung could mass-produce a quad-curved display, which may be launched with the forthcoming flagship (Galaxy S23 Ultra) next year.

The S22 Ultra has a Dual-curved screen design, which makes it impossible to achieve a 4-sided equal-width design. But if the Quad-curved design is used, this problem can be solved very well. It's too early to talk about the S23, I hope this news is true. https://t.co/zT6iBgy29c

If this information is true, Samsung will give a different look to the Galaxy S23 Ultra with the futuristic quad-curved display compared to the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra, which features a dual-curved display. It’s worth mentioning that the Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ are the first ones to feature such displays.
I just learned that Samsung Display does have the ability to mass produce four sided equal width Quad curved screen.

To be noted, the same source previously said that the quad-curved displays would become the norm among flagship smartphones by 2020. However, Huawei and Xiaomi had launched their phones with quad curved screens, they don’t look as good as the promotional renders.

Therefore, we can speculate that Samsung will bring this technology in full-fledged as it undoubtedly has the most capable display manufacturing unit in the world. One more thing, it’s too early to cite anything about the Galaxy S23 series, while it would surely introduce significant upgrades over the S22 series.
