Latest Google Duo update release hints at new ‘Live streaming’ feature arrival
Google Duo app recently managed to reach the milestone of over 5 billion installs in the Play Store. And in a recent development, Google released the latest 159.0.425779378 update for Duo, with some general improvements that are simple, reliable, and works across Android and iOS phones and tablets, smart devices, and the web.
In the latest 159.0.425779378 update for Google Duo, there are a few lines of code in the APK package that indicate more rooms are being added so that video chat participants can be divided into smaller groups.

This additional feature will make it easier for everyone to communicate. Most interestingly, you can now easily share and join group calls with a link to and can take photos of your video calls.
Now Google Duo allows up to 32 people to join a group video call. There are some new strings related to the small group chat room feature. Small group chats rooms in the sense of the ability to divide people into small groups. This is a very convenient feature when hosting meetings.
Moreover, they contain messages such as Live streaming will start soon and “This meeting is streaming and recording”. This is all evolving right now.
Notably, there are no new features and changes noted in the update changelog. Perhaps like previous updates, you may experience a new alternate in Duo settings. The given package size for the update is around 30.97 MB.
