Samsung just launched the Galaxy S22 series flagships at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. These premium devices feature powerful hardware and the most up-to-date software abilities. Meanwhile, there’s an important question emerging in the Galaxy S22’s consumers’ minds!

What’s inside the retail box?

Just like the Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 3, Samsung is bringing nothing other than a USB-C cable. Yes, there is no wall charger or AKG earbuds inside the retail boxes of the latest and premium Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra as part of reducing the price and electronic waste.

Apart from the charging adapter, Samsung doesn’t include any wireless charger or additional accessories with the recently unveiled smartphones. It means you will have to separately purchase a charging adapter and earbuds alongside the Galaxy S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra.

Back in 2020, Samsung started cutting down on the accessories included with its flagship phones. While the Galaxy Note 20 series retail boxes didn’t include AKG earbuds, Samsung even removed the wall charging adapter, starting with the Galaxy S21 series.
