Not only flagships, select Samsung A phones will also have Four Android and Five years of security updates

Samsung just announced the expansion of its software update policy which ensures four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches. While, we were expecting that the Galaxy S22 series, Tab S8 series and last year’s flagships will have four years of OS upgrades, it’s not totally true.

Select Samsung A phones will also get Four OS upgrades

The Korean tech giant officially confirmed that select Galaxy A series devices will also be eligible for Four generations of Android upgrades and five years of security patches. We can expect this treatment for the upcoming Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 smartphones.
