Samsung Galaxy S22 pre-reservation begins in India, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 confirmed!

Samsung has now officially confirmed that the Galaxy S22 series smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform in India. The Galaxy S22 lineup’s launch date is still awaited by the company, meanwhile, it could happen very soon!

According to Samsung India, All three Galaxy S22 series smartphones – Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 – will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform. At the same time, Samsung has begun the Galaxy S22 lineup pre-reservations in India alongside revealing additional benefits.

The Korean phone maker announced that customers can pre-reserve the latest flagships in India by paying a token amount of INR 1,999 through the ‘Galaxy S22 Pre-reserve VIP Pass’. And pre-reserved customers will also get a Galaxy Smart Tag worth INR 2699 for free.

On February 9, Samsung launched its new flagship smartphone lineup – the Galaxy S22 series at the first Unpacked of this year. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is a merger of the best of two smartphone legacies – the unrivaled power of the Note series and the pro-grade camera and performance of the S series.

Alongside the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ at the virtual Unpacked. Both of these devices introduce dynamic cameras with advanced intelligent image processing to make every moment epic.

As part of providing the best possible mobile performance and experience, Samsung expanded its software support. The entire Galaxy S22 series will be supported by up to four generations of Android OS upgrades as well as five years of regular security patches.
