Some Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 users facing Google Pay issues, Google responded!
Google Pay is not working properly for you on Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 due to recent issues. And if you have trouble using it, you are not alone. In the recent report of 9to5google, as well as a large number of threads have surfaced on the Reddit and Samsung community forums are seeing problems on their smartwatches.
It seems that issues came to the fore within the last week or two days. But there are some old reports from last month. When it comes to this issue, some users report not being able to use Google Pay in the store when they are ready for checkout.

Others are reporting problems with the app not being able to set up at all when trying to add a new card. If you’ve experienced these issues yourself, the good news is that Google knows about it.
After identifying the problem on Twitter and it is currently investigating the issue. The bad news is that Google has not given a time frame on when the fix will come and it will not give it until more information is shared.

So if you currently do not have access to Google Pay from your Galaxy Watch 4, you will need to find another way to use it. Or go the old traditional way and use a credit card, debit card, or paper money. It may be less convenient for some, but at least it works.
If you definitely like to use contactless payments from your watch, there is always Samsung Pay. Who makes the same task equally easy.
