Samsung Galaxy S10 February 2022 update expanding in Europe

A few days ago, Samsung began releasing February 2022 security patch for Galaxy S10 series smartphones. Now, the company is expanding this latest update to more users of Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 5G, and S10 Plus smartphones in Europe.

As per the security bulletin, this update installs the latest Android patch released in February 2022, which fixes 2 critical, 29 high, and 15 moderate levels of issues and exploits for better device stability. Aside from this, there’s no new feature or change noted.

Users can identify the update through the version number mentioned below.

  • G973FXXSEGVA9 –  Galaxy S10
  • G970FXXSEGVA9 – Galaxy S10e
  • G975FXXSEGVA9 –  Galaxy S10+
  • G977BXXSEGVA9  – Galaxy S10 5G

You can update your Samsung Galaxy S10 series smartphones to the February 2022 update by going to Settings. From here click on Software Update >> Download and Install. Wait for the device to check for the latest update, and finally click on Download Now option.

Galaxy S10 will get Android 13?

Samsung Galaxy S10 series launched with the Android 9 software system and as promised, Samsung provided three major OS updates to the phones, which means they will spend their remaining time on the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 version. While the Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, and S10 5G users will have to satisfy with Android 12 but the affordable variant (Galaxy S10 Lite) of the lineup will get an Android 13 upgrade as well.
