This month, Samsung announced the latest Galaxy S22 series smartphones and started shipping pre-orders in a few countries. Meanwhile, the company has now started releasing the first software update for the devices.

The first Galaxy S22 update installs the February 2022 Android security patch for better system security and stability. At the same time, it also fixes 2 critical, 29 high, and 15 moderate levels of issues and exploits for system performance enhancement.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S22 February 2022 update is currently released in Afghanistan and Egypt. However, the region users will soon get it. As of now, you can identify this software update via the following One UI build versions:

  • Galaxy S22: S901EXXU1AVB3
  • Galaxy S22+: S906EXXU1AVB3
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra: S908EXXU1AVB3

How to download:

Make sure that you backup your important data before starting downloading, so you won’t lose any important files. Although the upgrade procedure won’t replace or remove any of the corresponding data from your smartphone, it’s recommended to do so for extra safety measures.

To download and install, navigate Settings >> Software update >> Download and install >> Download now >> Follow on-screen instructions.
