February 2022 update releasing for Samsung Galaxy A51, Galaxy A32 5G in the US

Last month, Samsung started releasing February 2022 security patch for its Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A32 5G users. Now, the company is expanding the update for the locked variants of these devices in the US.

February 2022 security update fixes several issues and CVEs and SVEs from Google and Samsung. Mainly, the latest Android patches fix different categories of issues and exploits including 2 critical, 29 high, and 15 moderate.

The new update for Galaxy A51 is rolling out on Xfinity Mobile’s network and for Galaxy A32 5G, the update is released on the US network carriers – Sprint and T-Mobile. Users of these devices can check the updated software version below.

UPDATED SOFTWARE VERSION

  • A326USQU7AVB1 – Galaxy A32 5G
  • A515USQS7CVB1 – Galaxy A51

Users can manually install this software update on their smartphones via their device Settings >> System Update >> Download and Install. Restart your device and it’s done.

Note:

  • Make sure to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.
  • Your device battery must be fully charged before starting the software update.

Samsung March 2022 Security Patch:

Aside from this, Samsung began rolling out the most-up-to-date March 2022 security patch for S22 series devices. However, the details of this patch have not been released yet, but this update fixes multiple CVEs and SVEs to enhance performance.
