Samsung’s latest Galaxy S22 series devices come with some notable improvements that most Galaxy users will love in their Cameras. We’re talking about pro-photography-level qualities that allow you to take some amazing photos, at least Samsung guarantees.

But what if, when reflections in glass or dark shadows ruin your photo, Samsung has a quick and easy solution to that problem. A new and updated Object Eraser with One UI 4.1 on the Galaxy S22 series, allows you to eliminate these annoying issues with photos by using a single button.

One UI 4.1 Object Eraser automatically illuminates dark, shady areas of a photo with a simple button press or press to erase shadows more accurately in the image. Similarly, the new “Erase Reflection” button can be used to reduce those awkward reflections with a single tab.

Object Eraser on a Samsung phone!

Samsung’s Object Eraser entered the Galaxy S21 last year and Samsung continued its improvement over the past year. Object Eraser is a tool found in the Samsung Gallery app on Galaxy phones that uses AI to make touching photos an easy and free experience.

With the new update, Samsung’s features can better compete with Google Magic Eraser. This means that no matter what best Android phone you have, you can easily touch up those photos with a few taps. See the gallery above to see some examples from our review.

Before you use the feature, you will get the ability to draw around what you want to remove from the image, a quick evaluation of the image. The end result can vary from image to image and largely depends on the quality, framing, and skeptical image of your subject.
