How to use One UI 4.1-based Dual Messenger on your Samsung Galaxy S22?
In this digital age where everyone handles multiple social media applications like WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, there are many people who need 2 accounts of the same app on one phone. For those people, Dual Messenger is a solution.
But how? Recently, Samsung introduced, the Galaxy S22 series smartphones, which offer several improved functionalities as it comes with a pre-installed Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software system. One of those various improvements is Dual Messenger which lets you create two different accounts for the same messaging app on the same device.

Both these accounts will work as usual. You will be able to send and receive messages to/from either of the two active app accounts basis on your preference. That means you can keep your accounts for work and home separate to avoid confusion.

How to install second app:
- Head over to the Galaxy S22’s Settings.
- Open Advanced features.
- Go to Dual Messenger.
- Tap the switch of an app to install the second app.
- The second app will be installed and displayed.
- To choose which contacts have access to the secondary Messenger app, tap Use separate contact list.
How to uninstall second app:
- Open Settings of your smartphone
- Go to Advanced features >> Dual Messenger.
- Tap the switch of an app to uninstall the second app.
- The second app will be deleted.
- All data related to the second app will be deleted as well.
