Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Teardown:

The YouTuber Jerryrigeverything first separates the rear panel of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and notes that the glass panel and the camera cutouts are all permanently fused together. Thus, if one of the glasses of camera lenses breaks, you need to replace the complete back panel.

He further removes the wireless charging coil and the plate covers from the upper and lower boards. The video shows off some of the speaker assembly and USB Type-C port cap to fix with water resistance. He also noted that the company is using extreme glue to place the battery and he needed to drop isopropyl alcohol into the battery compartment to loosen it.

The YouTuber says that other companies do not use this amount of glue, even Apple has pull-tabs that make the battery replacement procedure easier. The S-Pen is also covered by a thick plastic plate that is affixed by glue and closed. However, it keeps water out of the phone’s internals while allowing it to enter the slot.

He later reassembles the Galaxy S22 Ultra and noted that the phone doesn’t start immediately. However, he also noted that the display cable was slightly chopped with a blade while disassembling the back panel.
