Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy A53 on March 17, meanwhile, an unofficial unboxing video of the smartphone is allegedly leaked. The video shows the design of the Galaxy A53 device, which quite matches its predecessor. [Via]

Recently, a well-known tipster RolandQuandt shared live images of the Samsung Galaxy A53. The live image confirms what we already knew about the design, and the device gets a quad rear camera array, similar to what we saw on its predecessor.

 


Update 9, March 03: Samsung Galaxy A53 price leaked ahead of launch

Update 8, February 03: Official press renders revealed with Camera specs

Now, we can take a look at the official Galaxy A53 5G renders as shared online by WinFuture. The renders reveal the overall design which looks almost identical to its predecessor Galaxy A52 with just a slight difference in the camera.

Like the previous A-series smartphones, this one too has a four-camera setup, but the one simple change is that the camera housing corners are smoother.


Update 7, February 02: FCC/NBTC certified with 25W charging

Samsung got approval for the Galaxy A53 smartphone by the United States’ FCC and NBTC certification authorities. The FCC document confirms its 25W fast charging capability, which there’s nothing to point out regarding the NBTC certificate.

 


 

Update 6, January 24: Appeared on Geekbench

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A53 was spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-A536B. The device equips Exynos 1200 processor (s5e8825), featuring two CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. However, the phone secured 743 and 1,900 points in the single-core CPU test and multi-core test respectively.

 


 

Update 5, January 21: Benchmarked with Samsung Internet 16

Samsung Galaxy A53 running Samsung Internet 16 benchmarked in HTML5 test with model number SM-A536B. To be noted, the document didn’t reveal anything about the smartphone such as key specs and design.

 


 

Update 4, January 21: Live images

Exclusively revealed by 91Mobiles, the Samsung Galaxy A53 live images show the complete design and rear camera layout of the smartphone. Going by these images, it seems that the Galaxy A53 is not coming with any major design changes compared to its predecessor.


 

Update 3, January 19: TENAA listing

After 3C, the upcoming Galaxy A53 smartphone gets listed on China’s TENAA certification site alongside specifications and design. As per the info, the device brings a 6.46-inch FHD+ display with 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution and a center punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

On the rear, the Galaxy A53 5G is equipped with a quad-camera setup, which includes an LED flash as well. In terms of memory configuration, the phone is said to pack 8GB of RAM along with 128GB and 256GB storage options and microSD card support.

 


 

Update 2, January 18: 3C listing

Folks over at MySmartPrice spotted that the Galaxy A53 cleared the 3C certification in China. The supporting document suggests that the device will ship a 15W charging adapter inside the retail box, which sounds quite disappointing to consumers nowadays.

 


 

Update 1, November 08: 5K renders

As per the latest renders leaked by Onleaks in collaboration with Digit, the upcoming Galaxy A53 5G looks similar to the Galaxy A52, while it is slightly slimmer than its predecessor. Also, the area around the camera module has smooth curves that give it a seamless look and feel.

Like the Galaxy A52, the Korean tech giant will launch the Galaxy A53 sometime in March 2022. Meanwhile, ahead of the official launch, rising concept creator HoiINDI comes up to the light with a series of several colorful Galaxy A53 concept renders.

As you can see in the concept renders below, the Galaxy A53 could come with a quad rear camera system inside a rectangular-shaped camera module. On the front, it will have a center punch-hole display, while the chin seems quite thick.

Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy A53 smartphone will feature at least four color options including Black, White, Light Blue, and Orange. Also, several reports revealed that the upcoming Galaxy A series phones will come with Samsung’s Exynos processors instead of Snapdragon.
