No doubt, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series comes with the best features out there. However, the Galaxy S22 with One UI 4.1 is even better, be it software or hardware. The device definitely sports a pro-grade display while the Samsung One UI 4.1 Extra Brightness feature makes it more impressive.

Most of the time, people prefer to use their phones on dim displays, it’s also good for our eyes. However, there are times especially when you are in direct sunlight, you would like your phone to show some extra brightness so that you can perform the functions of your phone easily.

So, in a situation where you want your display to run as bright as possible without any interference, you can make use of the Samsung One UI 4.1 Extra Brightness feature. Its screen is more readable than any other display.

Samsung offers the new “Extra Brightness” toggle under the Display settings to let you punch up the brightness. But, the feature is only visible when the Adaptive Brightness function is turned off. Below you can check the spets that will let your turn on the Galaxy S22 Extra Brightness feature.

Do note that this feature causes heavy battery drain or may affect your eyes, therefore, we suggest that you should use it when you seriously need it.

  • Head over the Settings of your smartphone.
  • Go to Display.
  • Turn off Adaptive Brightness, if enabled.
  • Right below, you’ll see an option “Extra Brightness“.
  • Turn the toggle on and enjoy the Extra Brightness.
