Debuted with the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has just announced the One UI 4.1 updates to a bunch of Galaxy devices, bringing the latest Galaxy innovations to more users. At the same, the tech giant has also announced some noteworthy features for these devices, such as Samsung One UI 4.1 Google Duo Live Sharing.

Many times when you are watching Instagram reels, YouTube videos, or anything else, you might think of enjoying it with your friends, relatives, etc. Meanwhile, with Samsung One UI 4.1 Google Duo Live Sharing feature, you can now enjoy your favorite shows, pictures with people who are far away from you.

No matter wherever you are, you can stay connected with the Google Duo app on your Galaxy device. With the Google Duo Live Sharing feature, you can share your screen with friends to view photos together in the gallery and relive fond memories even when you’re away.

You can even share your browser screen and collaborate on Samsung Notes while you’re on a video call. Isn’t it sound great for planning a trip with your friends or taking useful notes during that important meeting? Yes, it sounds amazing.

How to use One UI 4.1-based Google Duo Live Sharing feature on your Galaxy device?

Note: You won’t be on camera while you share your screen. You can only share your screen on one-to-one calls.

  1. Open Google Duo app.
  2. Start a video call.
  3. At the bottom, tap More options >> Screen share >> Start now.
    • The other caller can accept or cancel your request to share your screen.
  4. To end your screen share, tap Screen share.

  • Google Duo is a trademark of Google LLC. Live sharing host is available to Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series users at the time of launch and will be provided to other Galaxy device users with Android 12 OS at a later date. Participants may need to upgrade to the latest Google Duo app to use live sharing. Google Duo app availability may vary by market. Requires optimal network connection.
  • Current sharable apps during Google Duo video calls are Google Arts & Culture, Google Maps, Jamboard, Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, and YouTube.
  • Google Duo supports QHD resolution for up to 4 people connected simultaneously.
