Just recently, Samsung opens the way to One UI 4.1 to older Galaxy devices, bringing the latest Galaxy innovation to more users. From dynamic camera and photo editing features to Grammarly-based keyboards, the latest update provides tools to express yourself in your own way.

Among them, Samsung’s One UI 4.1-based Object Eraser is one of the major features that add amazing enhancement to photos. Adding to this, a great photo can be damaged by background objects, people, shadows, or reflections, but you will not notice it until after the picture has been taken.

With a more sophisticated Object Eraser, you can now easily remove not only distractions in the background, but also shadows are thrown on the subject or reflections on windows. When you want to remove them from the photo, press the ‘Erase Shadow‘ or ‘Erase Reflection‘ button, the rest will be handled by the object eraser.

  • The ‘Erase shadows’ and ‘Erase reflections’ features are only supported on the Galaxy S10 series and the newer devices. Even if both shadows and reflections are detected in a photo, only one eraser effect can be applied.
